About A Daisy (Balassi Stanza) Poem by Gert Strydom

About A Daisy (Balassi Stanza)

She picked a white daisy,
drew off petals easy,
said he loves me or does not
watched the white flower,
scared to get it over,
wondered what she had got,
her tears gleamed like dew
and the answer she knew,
picked flowers for a pot.
