Alone Soul

About a girl

A sheet of empty canvas
a sheet of empty clay
they took it in their hands
and molded everyday

A sheet of empty canvas
a sheet of empty clay
they tried to draw a picture
painted all black and grey

a dark sheet of canvas
lost in the shadow of life
drifting further everyday
getting darker everynight

a dark sheet of canvas
noone wishes to see
noone to put some colors
how beautiful it could be

I'm sorry
wish I could help ya
I know that ur hurt
and I can feel ur pain

I'm sorry
that noone ever told ya
this life is for real
dont take it for a game

this life is so beautiful
and beauty fades fast

In this dark sheet of canvas
this girl's portrayed
never saw the colors
now she just tears away

Poem of the Day

poet Charles Stuart Calverley

He stood, a worn-out City clerk —
Who'd toil'd, and seen no holiday,
