...About my poems.

Three weeks ago I had aids,
two weeks before that I was
a card carrying dope addict.
For awhile I was a disabled
veteran and even a Mexican
day laborer showed up there
for a time, between a child
abuse victim I became.

I apologize if I touched a nerve
in any poems I wrote
under them circumstances.
Even if I intended to!
