Abraham Poem by JOE POEWHIT

Abraham

Rating: 4.4

Under a mighty tree.
My lady beside me.
What did I notice true.
With old cloak, shrouded blue.
Walking on a beggars road.
Shadow cross of a load.
Looking fast, just by chance.
Did a two step of dance.
Onward passing sun an shadows.
My lady heard singing sparrows.
GODS heaven shade tree.
Abraham, Abraham, faith of thee.

Ah, thank God for old school thats where ABRAHAM is from...times are getting no better...back then...and ABRAHAM heard the words...and marched to the singing....and found shade...and other nice things that surrounded the area...a bit of heaven on earth...you did a fine job...If I did not believe in God...after your words I would have....

Very Nice Poem... I Love The Topic of The Moment of Abraham's Seeing the Angels of God Incident. That's What It Brings To My Mind... You Brought the Moment To Life... Very Nicely Written... MoonBee
