Abraham Lincoln Poem by Ramona Thompson

Abraham Lincoln

All is not as it seems in this white house of lies
Back from the beyond I have returned with a most dire warning
Run, run as far and as fast as you can from a man who claims me as his most prized idol
A little more than just a few of the promises he has made soon shall begin to ring false
Harsh times and an even harsher relevation of truth lays dead ahead
A monster never meant to be unleashed has now escaped to wreck terrible havoc upon you all
Make not the mistake of ignoring a past one's ghostly warning or the consequences I fear could well be fatal

Leading you not astray I swear
In me and the good lord above only can you dare to trust
No one and nothing else must be believed no matter how good or well the words sound
Caught up on a web of massive and poisonous deceit
Only you can set yourselfs free before the horror that is to come consumes you
Listen and listen well my fellow Americans
Now is the time and and now is the place
Together as one you must take a stand

Call
Cry out for new leaders and change
Let not this conspiracy of cruel darkness take over
For I fear with a heavy and trembling heart
What wickness may well come this way if America does not come together now as one

My fellow citizens
You have been warned
Please take heed
