Absolute Truth Poem by Jayatissa K. Liyanage

Absolute Truth

Rating: 5.0

Light, sans darkness means nothing
Laughter, in sorrow free world, seem boring
Peace can concede, absolute nothing
to ears, never ever heard of fighting

Love becomes good for nothing
to a life, never experienced hating
Value is felt, of loving kindness
well in a mind, battered with hatred

What's so good about being good
If not reckoned, bad of being bad
Absolutism's malice is not felt
where, none sensed democratic wit

Relativity draws its value, absolute
Only in the context of diversity, vast
Even in a falsehood free environment
Its truth, only truth, asserts a value absolute

you very well cover both sides of what is and what is not relativity you can only compare by drawing a bigger line besides a shorter one so spake Einstein great poetic work ma'am

Light becomes perceptible only against darkness. Love becomes more accentuated against hate. Hope becomes more meaningful in despair...... A highly philosophical write! A 10
