Pinch me
maybe I'll wake up
to an awfully bad joke
Yes, it was all just a ruse
meant to amuse
not shaken and jolt
not hit like a bolt
my stomach
as it flips
Pinch me
this must be a dream
not wholly real
Am I floating on air
do I dare
look down at my feet
and see that they meet
the cold kitchen floor
I am sleeping no more
Pinch me
and if it really hurts
I will know that its true
will know what its worth
How the truth looks absurd
from inside and out

I would like to translate this poem
The more you sleep and supposedly wake the less you'll stuggle with pinching as a remedy. Great poem nonetheless. Richard
