Abuser Poem by Claire Abbott

Abuser

Rating: 4.1

You shout,
You scream,
You punch,
You kick,
You laugh,
You sneer,
As I shed a tear.

You bite,
You spit,
You scratch,
You cuss,
You pinch
You burn,
When will you learn?

I flinch,
I bruise,
I cry,
I scream,
I hurt,
Abuse isn't what I need.

Point well made Claire, nobody 'enjoys' abuse, especially physical. Take care, Jerry

Hi Claire, this is deeply moving and well written, we are strong inside and perhaps in times like these we dont realise how strong we truly are, however that strength shines through in the last stanza. if you have time may i ask if you can take a look at one of mine called 'Lost for Good'. thanks for sharing yours. xx
