Acceptance Is For Me Poem by by her

I guess I have to accept everything,
Everything that's happening.
Though it caused me so much pain,
I'll let myself get soaked in the rain.

I think that someday, I'll come to see,
that I'm not usually me.
It really hurts deep inside,
But I'll just let the rain subside.

I know that I couldn't turn back time,
Cause I believe, I believe that it's a crime.
I guess it would take sometime,
For me to collect all my dimes.

Now I know,
Things just don't go with the flow.
I can't believe that everything went in just one blow,
But I think the sun would shine tomorrow.

I think that I'll just close my eyes,
So that I would forget all the lies.
For once in my life I was so high,
I felt that I just reached the sky.

But sorry my dear,
I was eaten by my fears.
Now everyone's not near,
And I'm just alone here.

Maybe this is my fate,
Blessings would come, but oh so late.
I still think the timing was right,
And all I have to do is stand with all my might.

This isn't easy,
And I have no one else but me.
So I have to straighten my path,
And stand up from where I just sat.
