Accidental Salvation

Only time will tell how long this accident will mend
I’m testing the waters for salvation
Bound to repeat
Engulfed with this passion

I strive to do become a better person
More caring and enduring
No outside force controls me
I am humble
Forgiven
And released

Tragedy after tragedy leads me here
Not a single straight line could have fixed me up
A broken wheel, a perfect painting, a final masterpiece
Achieving the impossible

Letting go of this past
I know longer judge myself
For the mistakes I have made
I create my future
I mold my future
I am my future

Setting an example
Brightening the way
Leading it with paved stone and light

Poem of the Day

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
