Achievements Of A Sadist Poem by KUNAL SETH

Achievements Of A Sadist

As he walked down the aisle of life
Accompanied by a deaf, mute and blind companion by his side
Its a story of a different love
A strange relationship of hand and glove
Never complained never lied
He had defended himself and his bride

A common man and a common enemy
Waiting for the righteous moment of envy
Talking of silence and mercy
Never deceived by occasional laughter of the crowd
He drowned himself in his anonymous shroud
Never claimed and never deprived.

He kept on telling himself
Its the beginning of a new end
He compared himself to a rose
And said we both are in bloom and we don’t have to choose
In this world full of choices we never let our heads loose
A sadist embraces what the world would love to discard
The sadness of being one or the sadness of being none.
