Across Time Poem by Valerie Hutchinson-morgan

Across Time

Rating: 4.0

Across time
The moon rises
With shining stars in attendance
Across the calm, silent ocean
A prince sleeps
Wrapped in it's ethereal glow

Across time
The sun goes down
To make way for the moon
Across the calm, silent ocean
A princess sleeps
Wrapped in it's ethereal glow

Across time
The moon goes down
To make way for the rising sun
Across the calm, silent ocean
The prince awakens
Wrapped in it's golden glow

Across time
The moon is still
With shining stars in attendance
The princess sleeps in dreamy slumber
Awaiting the arrival of
The sun's golden glow

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Some of us are asleep while others are awake in different time zones.
Yet, we all live under the same sun and moon, doing similar things at different times.
