Acrostic (Fireflies) Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Acrostic (Fireflies)

F orever there in memory, their
I llumination in a child's night skies
R eminds me today that youth itself
E scapes as easily from one's grasp.
F astened to the universe
L assoed to the stars,
I cling to that magical glow;
E ver is its light inside my heart
S parkling in each summer's eve.
