Adam And Eve Poem by The White Rabbit

Adam And Eve

All your old hope
All your old gold
Have nothing to do
With saving you this Eve

All your fearsome cold
All your fearsome swords
Have nothing to do
With saving them this Eve

All your good friends
All your good words
Having nothing to do
With saving your children this Eve

All your family pride
All your family worth
Having nothing to do
With you seeing daylight again

So say goodbye
So say you love them
So say you don’t deserve it
So say it wasn’t your own fault
So say I will suffer
So say goodbye
For no king’s horse
Nor his horses
Can put them all together again

Once I have had my fun
I’ll even let you watch

And so
I say who suffers, if not me

Then let them suffer with me

Suffer your indulgence
Suffer your arrogance
Suffer your falsehoods
And ignorance
All your old gold
All your fearsome swords

All your good words
All your family worth

Will burn this Eve
For Adam was just a fool

And Lilith the Queen
