Adam And Eve Not Madam And Eve Poem by Kariuki Samuel Mutiga

Adam And Eve Not Madam And Eve

i just cant believe
that you left me for her

does she look at you
the way i used to?
does she appreciate your beauty?
does she tell you that you are a cutie?

you told me that i was a real man
is she the most real man under the sun?

i was supposed to provide and to protect
this duties-will she perfect?

and the children we were supposed to have
-to have and to love
maybe they'll have ears
that resemble her's-or maybe yours

do you help her shave her beards?
sorry -indeed
she has none
surely-is she the most real man under the sun?

fixing punctures, repairing sinks, and other manly chores
do they amuse her-or are they a bore?

does she have muscles well built?
or do you fancy men with real muscles that make your head tilt?

this you ought to know
God made Adam and Eve
not a Madam and Eve.
