Addicted To The Colors Poem by Miranda Weller

Addicted To The Colors

Your eyes all that I see. So many days go by. Sitting around feeling so far away. Easy to find the wrong harder to find the right. I wont stay in your memories for to long as I dance alone tonight. Cold eyes stealing the life. Breathe to the edge of the fields. Running through the corn. I love your face, just go away. On my knees feel the space iv'e had been saving. Take a breath and say goodbye, just dont look into my eyes. Pick up the pieces and build a new world. Take a look at the stars and find escape. Dancing alone tonight. Take a breath and softly I say goodbye. Hold on, relase, breakdown and let it out. I broke. You have yours and I have mine. Say it again without erase. Someone will take the place. Take this back in time. When you did not kno me, did not need me. Are we still the same? Little moments of hesitations. Dancing in the valley of the dying sun. I am thinking of you, and in my soul I see you smiling. Hearts are strong. Ending or new beginig. Feeling what Im hearing. Bleed tonight, if this was only a pain tatoo. Tore my heart out, reconstruct, but I still have the shell I started with. Take a breath as I say goodbye.
