Adieu To You Poem by Julie Neises

Adieu To You

Rating: 4.8

I'm moving past the lies and deciet.
I'm moving to a place I can belong.
I'm going away and never looking back.
Where no one can tell me that I'm wrong.

Whether by bus or train, car or plane
it won't matter when drown out your voice.
It won't matter where I go.
For once it'll be my choice.

I'll go to a place where my heart can sing,
as my neighbors' hearts sing too.
I'll find someone who through thick and thin
will never be untrue.

I'll grow old in the place where I do belong
where my heart began anew.
The best part of all, which you'll really enjoy
is that I'll never have to see you.
