Adultery Poem by Deci Hernandez

Adultery

Are you a thief
And expect your
Things

Approval or not
Why then declare such
Blessings

Has your new man
Been crafted by a
Crafter's knot

How so do you
Trust a man that
Is not

Are you a thief
And expect your things

Did the woman's pleasure
Take the place of
Another's

For fortitude and
Boast the woman of
New

Will you cry in the
Night she finds
Another like you

Take hold and let
Your breath
Not go

If you find an adulterer
The same is a millstone
Around your neck

Seek your first love
And declare your
mistakes

Some of us are eaters
Of adultery
Cakes
