Advent Of Spring
The chirping sparrows on the chestnut tree
Singing in unison at morn in glee
Pecking at the fleshy fruit and rind
Send a well meaning message to humankind
For the short span of life they have, they live in glory
In total communion with nature to tell their story
To human robots in hurry and flurry
In the pursuit of pleasure for a future gory
