Ae01 Better To Be Deer



deer dashed in front of me
while i'm swinging my club
i could have been startled
they do that here, sanctuary
smart away from hunter
greener grass, lots of water

that deer is better than most
of us living in this planet today
after she done foraging, sleep
wait sunshine then walk again
she's motivated by free food
many of us can't afford to buy
