Affiliations

Rally the people to discuss bloody wars,
Pay heed to their bad political calls.
For petty, irrational and unlawful gains,
Party affiliations contrived and formed.
Travelling on roads of unethical tar,
All fully baptized in a pool of selfishness.
None capable to bear witness of the truth,
The good of the people shelved in lassitude.
Deviation from the tracks of development,
Justice long denied to the commoner.
Unconscious to the breeding of social benefits,
Tricks and illusions the order of the day.
Corruption, nepotism and deceitful mazes erected,
To hold back the deserving and escalate the cronies.
