Afraid you will leave
That she will take you away
It doesn't have to be that way
Whew! A sigh i'll heave
If she happens to take your heart
She won't find it whole
The other half I stole
It will make her sick, it will hurt
So please wait till i leave
When he takes me away
It has to be that way
And a burden me you will heave.
