Africa Poem by Sentamu Aziz

Africa

AFRICA

Dark and Lovely
So seen is my Home
Mountains to Climb
Landscapes to Paint
Only Cameras tell

Sweet Singing Birds
Nowhere but Home
So much Wild that brings Pride
All in my Home

All Cultures and Faith
Just Here in my Home
So Despised in Its Beauty
But Yearned for what it Holds

So Green One Big Swamp
Cool to keep the Amazon Silent
Wildly Peaceful
To its Pride we Sing
Sweet Sweet Africaaaaa
