After A Long Waiting Time Poem by Bodrul Alam

After A Long Waiting Time

And we met,
Heaving a sigh of relief
In a mizzling sunny morning
In the thirty seventh rainy season in my life;
Thank God! My search ended finally wearing a smile on face.

We met,
And we cried in joy
Mutely in our concealed spirits
(Probably my heart's lub dub ceased for a while)
When I found myself lost in sweetest joy of beloved kinship.

Unknowingly,
And with no realization
We waited so long to meet one day
(Unconsciously, unintentionally and unplanned) .
When we met, it was drizzling as though blessings from heaven.

May be,
We've crossed our roads before,
May be we sat together in a running bus
May be we stared at each other with blank eyes
But couldn't figure out what our muted heart is searching for.

And we met.
And that's the truest truth,
And that's why my heart is singing now,
In sweetened tune of never ending delightfulness.
Thank God! I found my precious kith, most gracious gift of You.

A nice poem. I love to read it. We met, And we cried in joy Mutely in our concealed spirits (Probably my heart's lub dub ceased for a while) When I found myself lost in sweetest joy of beloved kinship. ... Excellent. Everything we cannot express in words. But you are a great poet indeed.

Its an excellent poem. So nicely you explained, that I really enjoyed it. God is really merciful, that's why He is omnipotent. You are really a great poet. Write regularly.
