Andrew, I have to tell you, this moved me so, the way you filled this with so much imagery that enlighens the heart as the reader takes it from stanza to stanza, very well penned.... But then again you are my favorite poet next to Sara Teasdale! !

There are points when the flows smoothly from point to point but some of your word choice seemed to break it up a bit when I read it aloud. Nice effort.

I like to read your poems out loud. It helps me savor the rhythm of your scansion which is always impeccable. A subject that is regularly tackled by poets, this 'take' on sunset is original and very pretty. I felt 'satisfied' when I'd finished reading it, as if I'd been on a beautiful journey and you had taken me home. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The sky can give such beautiful hues when the sun sets. This gives a splendid explanation of that happening. I so enjoy your work it really is a pleasure to peruse.

I know what you mean of that glow Andrew, strange how your words seem so often to paint with such a sheen

Love duncan X

what a pleasant evening is painted here....with the soft pace as we actually experience...the momentry appearance of evening and night...

All three stanzas are pictorial and perfectly contructed with rhyme and rhythm...
