Afternoon Siesta Poem by black panther eyes eastick

Afternoon Siesta

Rating: 5.0

Your willowy body on top of me
Our eyes entwined
Our bodies moving...
My hearbeat
forms a rhythm
faster and faster
I am here now with you,
As we breathe,
As we connect,
As we unite in these moments,
As one.

Dreams of Columbia in my mind
Far off places, far away from this life
Another life
Parallell Universe
As we make love
As we kiss
I feel serpentine
AS we connect
My body is fluid
And moves with yours
I look from within
And take you Inside
Deep inside of me.

It is a wonderful thing
to have a lover
such as yourself
Your maleness
and my femaleness
Enveloping us...
Afternnoon siesta
An afternoon well spent
In the arms of each other.

Mushroom colored clouds
In the sky at dusk
Shapeshift and change color
As the day was ending
We watched a ship leave dock
Bound for Tasmania
And i wondered when i would be taking a trip...
Across the seas
through the clouds
to find another land.
I am unravelling
and changing
As i allow my old dreams to drift away
Like the Spirit did tonight...
Slowly and gently
through the blueness
of emotion of water of ocean.
I am bound for new shores
New dreams
New places
New people
New faces.

Sometimes,
I am reminded
of our intrinsic beauty and goodness
A man
A woman
Watching a sunset
Sharing moments
that will not come again...

A lyrical evocative piece written with compassion and spirit. Love the last eight lines in particular - they are a poem in themselves. Welcome to the site, Sandy. Looking forward to more. love, Allie xxxxxxxxx
