Aftershock Poem by Allian Bern Ballares Fuentes

Aftershock

I see the blood
I see you lying
The fear slowly cover my skin
The mind slowly fled from my brain

I see the glass
I see the mirror
I see the questions melt down my face

Shall I close my hands
Or spread it open
To runaway and cry for help

Shall I close the door
Or let it stay open
To turn away and cry for help

The summer fades and the winter's closing
The snow cover the flame while burning
I need the sun to save me here

The marriage falls at the start of the wedding
We last the race but there's no more morning
And there's no one to erase our tears
