Aged Eyes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Aged Eyes

Aged eyes

We know much of the eyes
Their colours and their jobs
Their actions and rewards.

We also know of age
How on eyes it affects.

Stories of losing
Paths and things
In some way!

Most of us helped parents
When looked but could not set
Their eyes on what they searched…

Today mine was funny
I slammed screw
Thinking was an insect!

Ha, ha, ha, my palm hurts!
