Ages Poem by Dr. Ibrahim Lawal Soro

Ages

Don't fly to the valley
for
hunters were waiting a
an annoyed bird.

Don't penetrate it;
your cage is another heaven on the earth.

Stay calm and steady,
Hug your life,
Tell your enemy that your
Another trip
Is to nowhere
Where the oxygen
Is deaf and dumb,
Where the water is
The fuel of life.

Tell them to hold it;
your wings
At the time of the said
pleasurable flight.
