Aggravation Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Aggravation

Rating: 4.0

Y'all checking for the kid but it won't leave my heart distressed
You jacking my swag, lacking my tag, you can't be this fresh
I can be classless and that's only when I'm being raunchy
I can be classy in responses when you go to taunt me
My mother taught me pride, father strengthened my ego
When put together, I would learn to exercise my veto
I like the way I carry things and would protect my guards
I like that I am not so moved enough to have me scared
achieved all this notoriety, among-st the inferiority
fiery red ruby, what a beauty?

I'm gonna flaunt it, it'll keep you on it
Issue the poster, you know I'm wanted
No time for cynics, I stay elevated
and know the critics stay captivated
can be loud, can be quiet
See this star?
It won't fade
fixed eyes will tune into this beloved TV station
Apart of a nation showing abundant appreciation
it's a crazy situation, i'm worth the aggravation

When you put me down, do you think that you're victorious?
I still stand
A warrior so divine from the battlefield of the glorious.
What you do is wrong, it's a challenge to the strong.
So understand
I might give you attention if I felt that you deserved it.
working 9-to-5 and get no pay or benefits.
I'd be the greatest, a statue of magnificence

It's a crazy situation, I'm worth the aggravation
You ain't important if you don't stir conversation.
Keep myself humbled, chatter doesn't pull a muscle.
