Aims In Life

Repeatedly they are lost.
Boring and tasteless
but needs arise to search
for finding them back
again and again.

Searching is must
and finding is also a must.
And whom you get back
are often not the same.

Still we must find
and finding we must stick to them.

Aims in life are very peculiar.

You feel something's missing
if they are not there
and they stay away from you
when they are there!

When biting Boreas, fell and doure,
Sharp shivers thro' the leafless bow'r;
When Phoebus gies a short-liv'd glow'r,
