Ain'T Got No Sense



I think when snapbacks came back
that's when the world went back
Cause we damn sure not moving forward
Young boys of color attacking one another over sneakers
Girls showing their features
Media make us look like creatures
Crazed animals on the loose
but is it them or the choices we choose?
Can't blame the white man forever
We need to pull up the lever
Show we're much clever not that our people

Lil man gotta iPhone but tying his shoes wrong
Lil momma can't even sing the ABC song but know the words to Nicki Minaj song
My man can't even keep straight A's but asking me 'yo you seem them new Js? ' like he

Ain't Got No Sense

Mommas becoming Mommas at age 16
Listening to the lies of a horny teen saying 'baby you know you my queen ain't nobody in between'
Opening her legs she does as he begs
Puts it in her with no hesitation as they both feel the exhilarating sensation
9 months later you know how the story go.
A beautiful baby boy comes
Lil man grows up without a Dad
All along she was a toy and his feelings were decoy
Running the same game to other innocent girls promising diamonds and pearls like he

Ain't Got No Sense

So what you gone do?
Lie back and say 'yo that ain't true'
Instead of taking notes and learning a lesson
From this deep poetry blessing
You never know when you could go ballistic and become another ugly statistic of someone who
