Air Poem by A.J. Desills

Air

Air

(A Tribute to Michael Jackson)

With speed of light, he danced

With energy he flowed

He sang like there was no tomorrow

Smiled, hid his pain and sorrow

He thought the world’s a “Thriller”

Didn’t stop to take a breather

His next beat was far from “Bad”

Could you tell that he was sad?

A Legend in the making

Who knew his heart was aching?

A child who shined in ABC

And gave us more of him to see

His music’s waves floated on air

Michael was worth a million stares

From USA to Asia he flew

Boundaries wasn’t a word he knew

Don’t say this man was “Dangerous”

His life was more than generous

He gave himself for us to share

He’s similar to – AIR
