Air In Between Poem by Clara Diskley

I'm missing what I need, I'm losing it and don't know
how to survive
A part of me doesn't feel like same
It feels like it was torn away and is out of my reach
I struggle reaching it and we cannot seem to touch
I'm touching nothing, just the air in between me
and everything else

All I want right now is to know it won't always be this bad
That someday I'll be happy and not force a single thing
Let me know it will get better, that would make feel a
whole lot different now

I don't know everything, I know I can discover whatever
It won't be easy and I never said it was going to be
Hit me with your best shot I'm so ready
Challenge me and let me get up to the top to succeed
