AJNABEE MERA MANN Poem by ANJALI KAKATI

Iss ajnabee se mann ka
Hum kya kare?
Koi sandook do,
Tala laga,
Chaabi samandar ko sonp aaye.
Ya phir,
Sandook hi ko
Samandar me pheek aaye.
Iss ajnabee se mann ka
Hum kya kare?
Koi khoota ho,
Baedi phasa,
Bandh ke rakhe,
Ya phir,
Khoote ke hi supurd
Mann aur baedi kar aaye.
Par…
Kya kare…
Mann hai,
Dhadkan mei basta hai,
Seene me rahta hai
Aur vahi se,
Sara shor karta hai.
Jakhmi hai,
Darun vilap karta hai,
Kabhi beraham,
Aatahas karta hai,
Lakh samjzhaye
Nahi samajhta,
Kabhi bina kahe hi
Maan jata hai.
Kabhi bahti nadiya se bhi
Pyaasa lout aata hai,
To kabhi,
Bul bule par
aapni shristi loota aata hai.
Koi kahe,
Koi toh kahe….
Iss ajnabee se mann ka
Hum kya kare? -anjali
