Akuba Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Akuba

From 'Wassa' to 'Asanta',
And, of 'Yaa Asantewaa' to 'Kofi Karikari';
But, the paradibm of things are now here to stay,
Because, you love me.
Ant, antacid!
With an audacious claim to make;
And like, 'Les trois mousquetaires'!
With the windows of love opened to me.
Love, move, prove!
I have no illusion but the truth;
love, rove, drove!
I am Akuba and, i have no city but a country;
Love, clove, glove!
You are my hero on this side of the lake.
True love!
With the insight of your muse to direct me on;
And like a shining star from heaven.
