Alas! I knew I'd be back again
Here, to a distant and a strange land,
Darkest, of no counts for time and space
As I wandered around black pebbles or sand
All that matters here is the weak life in me
Mother's not near, not a soul to befriend,
If I felt the moment, I would've felt so alone
Never to realize the loneliness till the end.
Nothing to dream for, no thirst nor hunger
Wandering through endlessly in this lifeless void
Of my mind, past midway through a deep slumber
Peace, after it scares me, nothing to take or avoid
Then I see homes so familiar, tiny things so dear
Holding tight, too precious to let it all away
Till I opened my eyes, still hopeful but tired,
So was I there? Where dearest may always stay.
