Alcohol Washes Troubles Away? Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Alcohol Washes Troubles Away?

clichés tell me
'Money makes the world
go round'

and
'Love makes the world
go round'

but
Alcoholics definitely
deny

the
validity
of such

sober lines.

Alcohol washes
troubles away
at least if does

just for a day

It does not wash away troubles but comes and sticks to life like nicotine.Life is a long journey, let us solve all problems boldly without encouraging addiction.
