Alex Stole My Last Line Poem by Veronika Knollman

Alex Stole My Last Line

Rating: 5.0

Prisoner walking to the end of his time
In the execution room, point of no return
Noose dangling in view
Waiting for its sole purpose
The clock ticking away the finite seconds
Silence as the penalty draws near
Lifeless eyes gaze on creeping death
And the faceless man is dropped from the living world

Lifeless eyes gaze on creeping death And the faceless man is dropped from the living world in a great lucid way you made entrended commotions

Excellent, Veronika! Your first line is an attention-grabber, it held me through to the vivid last line. Again, excellent! Warmest regards and respect, CJ
