Alice Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Alice

Now Alice
look at my being quite while
they all laugh at my
muttering to myself!
They can't leave me alone.
A constant vigil.
They stop me from falling
in a beautiful abyss
filled with the
echos of your footsteps.
I remember your
captivating hearty laugh!
Mycacophonic surrounding.
and their suffocating love
force me to drag myself to the
hidden world of dreams.
Alice, please stop playing
hide andseek and
gently hold my hand to
lead me to the wonderland.
I close my eyes and wait!
The abyss full of velvet dark.
Am quietly muttering to you
hidden there
in the velvet abyss.
