Alive But Dead Poem by R S

Alive But Dead

Rating: 5.0

When death snatches away a loved one
Separation becomes heart throbbingly painful
Alas leaving memories of the last encounters, the regrets..

The pain is no less, parting alive
If only thoughts can reconnect us
If only we can feel another's pain
If only we can understand well enough
Only if thoughts are as powerful as claimed by many

What is then the difference of being alive or dead
When the sun is there but it's warmth cannot be felt
When the moon is there but its not visible to the eyes

Yet they never fail to appear as if promised
What of our possibility to ever meet again
