All About Love Poem by Davoodd P Muhammed

All About Love

Affection.

It is the feeling,
That I kept in me,
As an-
Ever-burning light,
That I gave everyone,
Without consideration.

Hatred.

It is what,
I saw-
In my beloved people's-
Scornful looks at me.

Love.

The truth,
We feel,
Only once,
To only one,
In a lifetime.

Patience.

A
Sweet-seeping-pain.
A
Wet smile of heart;
That gives us,
A prophet's ease,
At the moments of-
Hatred and
Rejection.

Laugh.

The mask,
I carry on my face
To show the world.
But,
It is
My eyes,
Cheat me.

Eyes (Kannukal).

The mirror-
Of heart.
It never
Lies.

Tears.

The thing
I pour when
Every one sleeps,
Without being seen.
It hath
The heat of-
Burning heart,
The salty taste of-
Death.
It flows down
Through the
Ashy-dreams.

Dreams.

It is like
A bangle piece.
Like the bangle-piece
Of her,
That reminiscent
Her memory.
Like the bangle piece-
I always keep in my pocket,
Near my heart.
It is a painful but
Colorful
Sight of
A broken,
Imperfect bangle.

Word.

'I love you'
This is the most,
Beautiful word that,
A man can recite,
To a women.
(In return too)

She (Aval).

The blessing
God granted me...
But,
She smiles not now.
Her eyes tell nothing.
No,
There are no tears.
But it is still.

Farewell.

To your innocent face,
To your smiling eyes,
To your heart that showed pity on me.
To your gracious mind...

You.

The girl;
Came in to my life.
With a hearty smile.
The girl who;
Lightened my heart;
The girl;
Lit a light in my mind.
My beloved girl;
Whom I loved a lot and a lot.
Without knowing...

I.

The man who-
Lost his light-
In the darkness.
The man,
To whom 'fate' ordered
To be alone forever...

But....

Still,
Love dies not...
That is the only one thing;
I possess as my own.
That is enough.
Because
That only is,
The truth.

Wow! ! I would read it over & over. The opening is moving, real & touching esp.; I gv everyone without consideration & also ur stanza on patience was capturing for me. what Iv just picked on merely stands out from the rest, a truly brokenhearted guy well poetically said.
