All Around

My nights turned into blanksheets
My breath filled with unwanted fits
My being covered with sad shades
All around, After a while,
Nothing worked,
Not even a smile

My heart beats no more
My senses wave no more
My Self lives no more
All around, After a while
Nothing worked,
Not even a smile

The turn was last
The moment was dusk
He no more formed the cast
And left me as a past
All around, after a while
Nothing worked,
Not even a smile

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Dickinson

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
