All By Myself Don'T Wanna Love Poem by Edgar John Jackson

All By Myself Don'T Wanna Love

God, I’ve lost my love forever
Though I still love her more than ever
Every day I see her face on the mountain top
While I see my life fall down as a rain drop.

When the wind blows all night long
I can feel her whisper and begin to long
I hear her voice like the sweetest love song
And I understand I need her to be strong.

All by myself don’t wanna love
All by myself I don’t think of
Kissing her, loving her and having her
God, wherever I am, I love her.

I can see her walking right outside my window
When I imagine her smile it’s like the shining rainbow
I need to die to be out of the sorrow
Because she isn’t by my side… my life has no tomorrow.

God, tell her how much I miss her in my soul
Tell her, she is my life…. Upon my soul!
Nobody will love her as I will
Because she is my reason, my world and my will…

All by myself don’t wanna love
I see her eyes in heaven above
I feel her peace like a white dove
God, you know what I am thinking of…

Have faith that her soul is still present and time will heal. While good memories last forever.
