All For The Woodman

The muse of life,
From woman to woman!
And, all for the woodman;
But, when will i feel like a woman again?

Oh no! !
Now woodman no woman;
But, how is the muse of the man who has lost his wife?

The muse of life!
The world is a place for you and i;
But, how is the muse of the man who has lost his wife?

A woman for the woodman!
How is the muse of the woman who has lost her husband?
With sadness and grief;
From woman to woman.

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
