All Grown Up Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

All Grown Up

Rating: 3.5

A kiss on the cheek
is an insult to me.
It is not what I seek
or desire to be.

I am now fifteen
and a real wise guy,
I can get real mean
and don't care about why.

If you look at a shellfish,
how they do it all day...
if you want to be selfish
it will NOT be okay.

I must tell you that men
always know what is good.
They can tell you just when
and how often you should.

As we're sitting here, hot
at Niagara Falls,
move your beautiful butt,
opportunity calls.
