All Hallow's Eve Poem by nikki irvine

All Hallow's Eve

Its all hallow’s eve
It is all going down tomorrow,
The guts and the gore
And all the different costumes which mean even more.

Witches, Wizards and Warlocks
All line up at my house,
Pumpkins in the front
And the devil has my back.

Trick and Treats fly round,
As i'm sitting on this cold ground,
Groups of kids walk and shriek past,
The laughter. The joys,
The happy smiles on their faces.

The drum beats into the cold night.
Its rhythm drives down the street
As the kids move their feet! !

Ghost and Ghouls show themselves,
In this midnight display
Where the demons come out to play.

It’s where the freaks come out at night.

The one and only 24hours,
In the whole year is where I can let me hair down,
And have a ball,
At my beck and call! !
