All I Can See Poem by Samantha Rose Turner

All I Can See

If I look i see some grass, scattered across a yard,
If I look closer i can see the pain it must feel of being walked on But it doesnt care and stands up straight and tall.
I look at the sky, I see grey as far as the mountains,
But when i look closer, I can see it sad because it always cries but brings joy to those of whom enjoy ones sadness.

If i turn around I see a house, Colored to white,
If i looked at it closley i notice its painted to look so plain But it doesnt fight back and stays the same.

I looked across the street, a young child roams down the sidewalk sad,
But I look closer, their smiling, and glad they are alive unlike otheres whome take advantage.

I, look beyond what others see.
Look past how they look and follow there eyes.
They might be sad, but they dont show it.
They do that, to keep you from being sad to.
Everyone cares about you if you look through their eyes.

Look past whats on the outside, see there souls from within'.
