All I Have Left Poem by Corrine Shoemaker

All I Have Left

Rating: 5.0

We’d be together day by day
How we would just sit there and joyfully play.
Laughs and giggles echoed on to everyone,
We’re just glad we spent them with you
Because you’re better than anyone.

You stuck me hard when you left,
Oh how could you, I could never be so upset.
I’m now in tears knowing you aren’t here,
Without your guidance is what I fear.
My attitude is down lower than ever,
But how could I smile we aren’t together?

There’s a long way to go till I see you again,
So very long till I see my best friend.
I know you’ll be there by Heavens Gate
Oh, I can’t wait to see your sweet face.
We’ll smile and laugh just like before,
I just need you to hold me just once more.

I know you’re are looking down on me,
I don’t see you visually
But I feel you physically.
Now all I have left of you are just some amazing memories.
