my spirit aches in ways i can't even begin to express...
my chest burns and hurts with sorrow and loss...
i cannot imagine a tomorrow without your touch...
i do not want a tomorrow without your song...
no one will ever know me or see me as you do...
how can i go on without you?

i had made up my mind. did you know that?
just last night, i decided to go... wherever you called me...
i prepared myself to float on the wind to your home...
(and make it mine.)
and where, if for even one day or night,
i would know true love's kiss, and finally know peace...

damnation? God knows my heart...
it is all i have to guide me through this twisted world.
He knows that no matter where i lay my head,
i am with Him and trying my very best...
